Dancing From The Inside Out:
Stories of Dancers with Disabilities from AXIS Dance Company

Dancing from the Inside Out portrays the compelling stories of three of the lead dancers of AXIS Dance Company, a professional dance company that combines able-bodied dancers with dancers using wheelchairs for mobility.   Each tell their story from the standpoint of what they had to cope with and adapt to when their lives were changed through loss of mobility, and how they have used their passion for dance as a vehicle for self expression and self actualization, interwoven with scenes from their daily lives, rehearsals, and a full-scale performance by the company. 

This multiple award-winning documentary has been continuously in demand by universities, rehab centers and individuals since its initial release in 1994. It has stood the test of time as a beautiful and inspiring study of movement and performance as a path to personal empowerment and self acceptance.  Dancing from the Inside Out provides positive role models for people with disabilities while exposing all audiences to new ideas about beauty, creativity, and grace.

Galapagos Adventure for Kids

A  kid's-eye view of a week on the island of San Cristobal, the oldest of the Galapagos islands. Filmed in documentary style, Iguanas after Breakfast is a delightful and engaging on-the-scene excursion into this amazing and unique eco-system.  

Kids come along with Connor as tracks marine iguanas, finds out how sea lion pups are put to bed at night and discovers a group of giant tortoises having a picnic. Explore a coffee plantation by burro, learn how to draw sea turtles, and take a boat trip with Connor to the "island of the wolves" where he finds a unique group of birds with sky-blue feet. Narrated with humor and insight, this real-life adventure offers kid-sized facts about the animals of the Galapagos, its history, and the people who live there.

Iguanas after Breakfast makes this far-away place accessible to young people, igniting interest in further learning and inspiring a caring attitude toward its diverse and unusual wildlife.
